久しぶりのお日様だね。

ジャノメエリカ (蛇の目エリカ)の蕾
Buds of Erica canaliculata
ツツジ科 Ericaceae エリカ属 Erica

昨年は、蕾が蕾らしくなってきた 11月頃に
水切れを起こさせてかなり蕾がダメになってしまい、
奇跡的に新しい蕾が出てきたものの開花がかなり遅れたので
今年は慎重に水遣り、年内には咲き始めそうです。

学名：Malus domestica 'Fuji'

樹上の実の、蜜の正体であるソルビトールが果糖やブドウ糖に変わって
充分に熟し甘くなった証拠で、蜜自体が特に甘いのではないのだって。
つまり、芯の所の蜜がもったいないとかって思っちゃうけど、
そんな心配は不要、ってことだわよねw
