Bamboo pole ornaments for the Tanabata festival (the Star Festival)
The festival is usually held on July 7 in Japan, and celebrates the meeting of two stars, Orihime (Vega) and Hikoboshi (Altair).
The stars of the couple are allowed to see each other only once a year on Tanabata night across the Milky Way.
Japanese make a own wish upon the stars on the Tanabata festival.
