一般名：コスモス、オオハルシャギク(大春車菊)
学名：Cosmos bipinnatus
キク科 Asteraceae コスモス属 Cosmos
本来は短日植物 (一日の日長が一定時間より
短くならないと開花しない) だけど、
最近はそれほど日の長さに影響されずに開花する
春蒔き夏咲きの品種が多いのだそう。
にしても、ちょっと気の早い子みたいでした。されど秋桜。
